Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a BSc in Nursing.  I am registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP). I am bound by codes and ethics of all my professional bodies.

In keeping with current trends and research developments I am influenced by a number of theoretical paradigms.  I maintain my training by regularly attending relevant and current training courses. I hold a special interest in the formation of early attachment and the implications of this on later functioning.  I am also very invested in the study of the impact of trauma on peoples’ psyches.

I work with individual adult clients in both short term and open ended therapy.
